Playing in the dirt...

It's a pretty awesome feeling completing something you've been striving for for years. I recently installed my first new drip zone to an existing irrigation system to furnish the new garden we installed with automated watering using their current controller. I'm sure that sounds nerdy, but even after 6 hours in the blazing sun, I felt like a cool cucumber!

Since then I've been under the direction of Felix Brito, owner at #1 Ave. Irrigation and a veteran in the field, who is teaching me everything he knows about the evolving industry.

Operating the big trencher was exciting!

It's hard work, and there is a lot to learn, but I'm having a great time with it.

So I'm building up parts on the truck and getting familiar with all the typical equipment so I can be prepared for small repairs and quick fixes.
